Further Information T his plug-in enables the Directory Server to
support space and case insensitive values. T his
allows applications to search the directory using
entries with ASCII space characters.
For example, a search or compare operation that
uses jOHN Doe will match entries that contain
johndoe, john doe, and John Doe if the
attribute's schema has been configured to use
the space insensitive syntax.

entries, refer to the "Finding Directory Entries"
chapter in the Directory Server Administrator's
Guide.
