3. Delete the contents of that directory: rm -fv /var/cache/rhn/*

4. Restart both services:

service squid start

service httpd start

The same task can be accomplished quicker by just clearing the directory and restarting squid, but

this method will most likely result in a number of Red Hat Network traceback messages.

The internal caching mechanism used for authentication by the Proxy may also need its cache

cleared. To do this, issue the following command:

rm -fv /var/cache/rhn/*
