lntroduction

In this document, it describes how to connect an iSCSI target in RHEL via software

iSCSI initiator and use the device-mapper-multipath package to create a multipath

device which is presented by QSAN P150C via iSCSI. All QSAN P series models

can be used within this configuration.

Environment

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.1 (kernel 2.6.18-8.e15)

Necessary package:

iscsi-initiator-utils-6.2.0.742-0.5.el5

device-mapper-1.02.13-1.el5

device-mapper-multipath-0.4.7-8.el5

iSCSI target:

QSAN P150C

RAM:

1GB DDR2-533

Firmware:

1.1.3 (20080926_1100)

iSCSI data port:

192.168.11.150/24; 192.168.12.150/24
