With this update, live migration of VMs is now supported between

hosts in the same cell. Users are able to live migrate VMs between

hosts when using a cells-based deployment.

As a new feature, the MAC addresses associated with an instance's

allocated IP addresses are now returned as part of the instance

information.

This feature allows the relevant MAC addresses to be more readily

available.

MAC addresses are now present in the instance detail information

returned by OpenStack Compute.

A new feature makes 'IP attribute' available to all tenants in

server search.

Previous releases allowed only admin tenants to search by IP

attribute. It is a valuable query criteria when managing large

numbers of VMs and has been made available to all tenants.

Now, any tenant can use the IP attribute in server searches.

With this update, clones can now be created from GlusterFS Block

Storage volumes and volume snapshots.

Copmute is now able to use Block Storage mount options when

mounting GlusterFS and NFS shares. This update enables Block

Storage configuration options such as 'backupvolfile-server' to be

passed to Compute.

Consequently, Compute mounts NFS and GlusterFS shares with the

same arguments Block Storage uses to mount them.

Free RAM information for a given cell was previously stored within

StateManager, but was not accessible to administrators. With this

update, free RAM information can now be accessed from the Compute

API.

Consequently, administrators are able to perform more accurate

RAM capacity planning, thereby enabling more efficient use of

their OpenStack deployment.
