Some packages in the Red Hat OpenStack software repositories

conflict with packages provided by the Extra Packages for

Enterprise Linux (EPEL) software repositories.

The use of Red Hat OpenStack on systems with the EPEL software

repositories enabled is unsupported.

2.4. Known Issues

These known issues exist in Red Hat OpenStack at this time:

The identity server's token database table grows unconditionally

over time as new tokens are generated. Expired tokens are never

automatically deleted.

To clear the token table an administrator must backup all expired

tokens for audit purposes using an SQL select statement. Once the

tokens have been backed up the administrator must manually delete

the records from the database table.

Dashboard SSL configuration is not applied when specified in the

Packstack answer file. This behaviour is due to Nagios deleting

Apache's SSL configuration.

The workaround is to disable Nagios at installation time:

"packstack --os-horizon-ssl=y --nagios-install=n --allinone"

Compute is able to use libgfapi to connect to Block Storage

GlusterFS volumes. However, a known issue exists where

libvirt/Compute does not support Block Storage snapshots with this

feature. This means that:

* You can:

--Use the Block Storage GlusterFS plugin to set Red Hat Storage

as the storage provider for OpenStack Block Storage.

--Create Block Storage volumes in the above setup and attach

those volumes to a Compute instance using FUSE.

--Create Block Storage snapshots and clones of these Block

Storage volumes.
